Goals for Future 1) Continually offer opportunities for spiritual growth through meaningful worship, adult Bible studies, and Christian leadership training, including “Partners in Ministry” laity training program ongoing by assisting three new people to begin the program every year. 2) Encourage mission projects, alternating one major mission project annually with focus on local mission in odd years and global mission focus in even years. Mission participants will be encouraged to share their stories during worship to help inspire continued and future contributions of money and service. 3) Continue to develop programs that will attract community families. As a part of this goal, we will sponsor seminars on topical discussions that will engage members of the congregation and community to discuss issues that affect our lives. 4) Increase attendance by 10% annually to better enable us to be for the world the body of Christ, expanding our local and global missions. 5) We will need to address facilities issues that affect achieving these stated goals. We are already reaching capacity in our preschool and adding an infant care program is not feasible as a result. We lack adequate meeting space for conducting more than one adult class or meeting at a time. Increased worship attendance will require thought toward expanding sanctuary seating and paved parking lot. ThomasmatthewjamessonofAlphaeus |
