Volunteer Service

The heartbeat of First Federated Church is service. From food, to school supplies to refugees to clean-up efforts – we do our best to follow Jesus’ instructions in Matthew Chapter 25.

Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard

Our food pantry, a Second Harvest affiliate, provides community families with food staples and necessities they might not otherwise be able to afford. The pantry is open the 4th Saturday* each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Your help is needed to help stock the pantry and distribute the food. *may vary depending upon holidays. Kids Kupboard

We provide necessary educational supplies to our local school to help less advantaged youth. Thousands of dollars of crucial assistance is provided in fees and materials annually.

Mission Trips

From helping refugee resettlement to clean-up and maintenance projects you have the opportunity of short-term commitment that yields long-term goodwill. Experience the satisfaction of knowing you truly welcomed the stranger or helped the physically unable to restore their home for occupancy.
